QI GONG (BREATH WORK) IS A VITAL PART OF GONG FU TRAINING FOR BOTH THE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STYLES.  THE QI GONG EXERCISES THAT I EMPLOY COME FROM MANY SOURCES WITH ORIGINS PRIMARILY IN TAOIST AND BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY.  INTERGRATED WITH THE QI GONG ARE STRETCHING EXERCISES THAT ARE A COMBINATION OF CHINESE AND WESTERN TECHNIQUES THAT HAVE HAD BREATHING INCORPORATED INTO THEIR EXECUTION.

QI GONG IS TAUGHT FROM THE BEGINNING AS PART OF THE  TRAINING IN ALL THE ARTS.

QI GONG CLASSES FOR SENIORS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE - TAUGHT IN BOTH STANDING AND SEATED POSITIONS TO ACCOMODATE THOSE IN WHEEL CHAIRS AND THOSE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND FOR 60 MINUTES.
